    Proof of self-employment as required in your country

    We check the applicable rule for your country of work – for example a trade registration, a tax registration or a comparable document. No document is treated as a global requirement if it does not apply to you.

    Proportionate identity verification

    Where a project requires it, identity is verified through a suitable, lawful process. An ID copy is never requested for every talent profile.

    Document rules are versioned

    Country rules carry a date and a source. If a rule changes, it applies to new uploads – your completed checks remain traceable.

What Talent is today – and what is still being prepared.

Do I need a trade licence to work as a freelancer through Wendory?

Not automatically. The required proof depends on your country and activity. We prepare the applicable rules per country and only ask for what really applies to you.

Does applying cost anything for freelancers?

No. Searching projects and applying are free for talent. Companies pay for actively contacting talent – not for applications received.

Can I keep my permanent-role profile at the same time?

Yes. Employment and freelance are two separate approvals. A pending freelance proof never blocks your permanent profile.
